The 18th Valentine's Day
This is the first time which I actually can feel the joy, the romance, the love during Velentine's Day. As for the last 17 Valentine's Day in my life, they were just like normal day, nothing special. How about you guess what did I do during this romantic day?MYAC, yesssssss, M-Y-A-C again, my beloved MYAC, we held a Charity Valentine Sale!!! We bought all the flowers, chocolates, little cute teddy bears and 'love-shaped' deco and the papers/wrappers in different shops and florist stall. Then we gathered in Alice house to wrap the flowers.
11/2 Nelson called me for a meeting about doing something during Valentine's Day, since I so free that night, so I replied him that I'll go. Surprisingly, Jun Xiang also came (well.....) Anyway, Alice also came after 1 hour ++, we talked a bout selling what and how to sell them, sell them at where and whom we donate the profit to.
12/2 Lunch time, we went to Sunflower Centre to get the approval letter so we can use the name of charity to sell our flowers. To our delight, everything went smoothly, we took a photo with the women who in-charge and some other students/patients there. Then we went to Double Star to have our lunch (Not bad...quite delicious, I ordered Egg Chicken Thigh Rice and Teh C) At night, I became a driver, Alice and Nelson ride my car and we went to the shops to buy materials.
13/2 At night, went to Alice house, starting 'working' on those flowers, bear bear and chocolates. ----- Until 1.30++ a.m.
14/2 6.00 a.m. woke up, 7.00 a.m. went to fetch Nelson, we started our 'flower delivery service'. ----- Until 12 noon (Geng leh....li hai leh.... haha~~) For the whole journey, I kept on step on the brake and accelerator, Auto one already so tiring, I just can't imagine if I drove on manual one, step on the clutch till death. Anyway, just the two of us, because of this 'service', I'm able to visit Shin Yang Office, which is very formal and grand office, everyone has to wear uniform even during Saturday. And what do you think I met during the 'service'??? I met Kolok!!! So it was Hong Ming's friend, Vincent who ordered the flower and have us deliver it to Kolok!! See, the world is so small, even a guy (I mean Vincent, he is working in Singapore) from Singapore can order flower from us.
Afternoon, we had lunch in 99 cafe with Alice and Pauline, oh ya Ke Xin (He is now in Brunei) also ordered flower from us and we delivered it to Boulevard Shopping Centre to give to Pauline. Evening, we went to Alice's house to wrap flowers for new orders from customers 4.40pm++. Then I went back home for a small rest.
At night, we gathered in Jun Xiang's house, separate into 3 groups, Nelson and me, Jun Xiang and Cecily, Jassie and Kelvin.
My first target was Shabu Shabu, however, we can't go in, as the boss was not allowed :[ My feeling was like ~~cold~~, because the first one was unsuccessful. Second target was Fratinis, at first could not go in, then Nelson called Alice because it was Alice to call the manager. Then after awhile, the manager came out and allow only one of use to go in. Okay, I went in alone to sell the flowers. To my delight, the first table I visited bought the RM70 flower, I'm so happy since this is the first time I did something like this. Our sale continued until almost 12.oo am. Thanks to Jassie, she sold the last three to some AngMo (haha~~), then we sat two to have supper. Alice brought us some Chessey prawn, fried mee and Xue Yu (a kind of fish, quite expensive). After that was a nightmare, I tumpang Kelvin's car to go back home, but Jassie suggested to go Balcony drink beer. Gosh, I was very very tired already and.....$%^$%&^& Fine, nevermind, I went with them to Balcony and sat there for like almost 1 hour until 2 am (my eyes cannot open already..) Grrr...
Okayyyy~~ It was a happy ending for our charity sale, let's enjoy some of the pictures :]
